How to set up office 2003 on a second notebook

Katy

The trial version of Microsoft Office 2003 Student & Teacher Edition was
installed on my daughter's Presario V3000. I recently (9/17/08) activated it
and paid $159.95 for a 3 user license. Now, I want to put it on my other
daughter's notebook but can't find a link to download the program on her
notebook. I have my product key code.....where can I find the link to
download the program on this notebook.

If it was preinstalled then it is an OEM license and not usable on three
systems.

JoAnn,

How do I check if the program on my daughter's computer is an OEM license.
I ask this because when I activated the trial version, it stated that I was
buying a 3 user license @ $159.95, which made me happy because my other
daughter has the same computer which I had sent to Houston for repairs. I
just got it back last week and I cannot find the trial version on this
computer....I know it was there when the computer was new, 1 year ago, but is
gone now. Thank you.

If it stated it was the 3-user license, then apparently it is the retail
version, not OEM. I suggest you contact the seller to find out how you can
obtain a disk. I don't know how much they will charge you for that but I'm
fairly sure it's not free.) (Next time check Amazon.com. You'll have the
disk and it's cheaper that buying it the way you did.)

Yes, I should have done my homework. Wal-mart is much cheaper than microsoft. I bought the 2003 version from microsoft. I found my receipt and contacted them. They are mailing a disc so that I can download it on another computer. No charge for disc. Hope this helps others. Thank you.
