How to set up outlook express e-mail with AOL as my ISP

I'd like to set up Outlook Express e-mail, but
unfortunately I have aol as my ISP. My understanding is
that aol doesn't support Outlook in that regard. Does any
one know how to "get around" this barrier? Thank you for
your help.
