How to setup groups, grant permissions & assign users

New to Access.
I have created a Access database with various tables and queries. I would
like to secure the database so users can view the data in the tables and run
queries but prohibit changing the queries and changing the data in the
various tables.

What are the steps required to accomplish this task?
