How to setup my Outlook ?

Hi

Windows XP pro

I am used to Outlook Express. I installed a new hard
drive with more space. I wanted to use from now on
Outlook instead of OE. I installed Outlook from Office
pro 97. I changed my ISP and now can connect to the
internet. But when I tried to send to myself an email
test, it says "undeliverable". I am new to Outlook and
would appreciate if someone can advise me as to how I can
set it up.

Use yr ISP's site to check the mail settings you have.

What do you mean by email settings?
I know the Pop3 and the SMTP of my ISP. What I don't
know is how and where to setup my Outlook. This KB makes
it possible:

However, I did not find "Mail or Mail and Fax" icon in
the Control Panel of my XP.

Start OL, Tools/Accounts...add mail follow prompts.
Its a long time since I used OL97, so this by recollection.

Click the "Users" category in the Control Panel. It will only say "Mail" (no
fax).
