How to Share an Import Specification

A Coworker of mine painstakingly created an import spec
for a complex fixed length file and I wanted to use it for
a db of my own. I can't figure out where the spec info is
stored.

Any chance of sharing? Or do I have to re-create the spec.

the spec info is in a hidden file called 'MSysIMEXSpecs'
and the column names are in 'MSysIMEXColumns'. To view
these files (you can export the specs to another DB) go to
the Tables view in Access, then to Tools->Options->View
tab, then under Show, check the Hidden Objects and the
System Objects radio buttons and hit OK. The tables will
appear in your Tables window
