how to share software between PC and netbook

I bought MS Office Small Business Edition with my Dell PC and so have the CDs
and purchase code. I believe the license agreement allows me to use it on a
laptop too. However, my laptop is actually a 9" netbook without a CD drive.
How do I install it? Can I download it from a site and use my existing code?
I've got ethernet cables (yellow one?) so could I network it across?

Firstly you need to ascertain from your invoice whether you bought an
OEM version of Office. If you did, then you cannot install on any other
machine.
If a Retail copy, then you have three choices - either share the CD
drive on the pC and install from there over the network - or copy the
CDs to a flash drive and install from that, or buy a USB external DVD
drive.
Presumably you have a Restore DVD for the Netbook. Have you ever
considered how you are going to use that when you need to?
