I produced a report in MS Project server 2003 (using MS office project
web-access 2003), to try to find out if people were mistakenly
charging time to local resources instead of enterprise resources.
I dragged over y-axis (going down) fields for:
- Project
- Resources
- Resource Status
And I dragged over a single x-axis (going across) field for Actual
Work Protected.
When I look at the data, it shows, say, for John Smith, that he
- has 821.0h that are enterprise active.
- has 821.0h Total.
My question is, if someone mistakenly charged time to the local
resource John Smith instead of the enterprise one, would John Smith
instead show a greater total hours than enterprise active? E.g.,
- 821.0h that are enterprise active
- 900h total
If this doesn't work - and the 'total' field is only pulling from
enterprise hours anyway (I suspect it may be) - does anyone else have
a solution that would achieve my goal.
Thanks!
