Jason

hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to show the non working times on the task
bars as a shaded color, split or something that makes it obvious.

Thank you

Hello Jason,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project General Questions newsgroup.

By default, nonworking hours are shaded in gray color with a dotted pattern
in the Gantt chart’s background.

If you want to make it more obvious, just format the Timescale of the Gantt
chart (double click on it), in the "Non-working time" tab, select a more
vivid color, maybe red. You can also select the option to show nonworking
time “in front of task barsâ€.

I hope this helps. Please let us know how you get along with it.

Best Regards,

Also under non-working time you can select a different calendar. Note also
that if you show time on a week by week basis, Weekend non-work doesn't
appear but a whole week off will.
