I made an SMS 2003 package to push out all the SP3 updates to our users. It
has Main, OWC10, OWC11, OneNote, Project, and VISIO, along with
OhotFix.exe/ini/dll.
I need to have info screens and progress bars pop up so that users know
something is going on, but, minus the buttons, so they can neither cancel nor
fail to push the final OK (what's happening is some cancel during the middle,
and, those who aren't logged-on fail to push the OK button at the end, which
causes the SMS package to timeout and appear to have failed (I DO realize I
could not set a timelimit on the SMS install, but do want to detect the REAL
timeouts, if they happen)).
I've played with the settings in ohotfix.ini, but, they seem to be kinda all
or nothing.
Any way for me to have my cake and eat it too--info and progress, minus
buttons?
Thanks.
