how to stop being asked for "enter network password"

I have Outlook 2002 and I am continously asked to enter my network password
even though I have clicked the box to "remember my password" for sending and
receiving email. I have deleted the key from the protected storage system
provider as suggested and clicked the check box for "inherit from the parent
the permission entries that apply to child objects..." and removed the check
box for "replace permission entries..." and this did not work. I do not know
what to do and it is frustrating. I have looked everywhere for a solution and
to no resolve.

Please help.

Sounds like it is not retaining the "remember password" setting. Take a look

Thanks for responding. I tried that fix as stated in my post, but it did not
work. Do you have any other suggestions?
