How to stop flickering change ballons in track changes mode

The change ballons in track changes start flikering on large documents and
word really slows down. Any idea what is causing this? It ususally is only
associated with footer changes. Word xp with current updates.

Hi hopefully seeking

My guess is either that your machine doesn't really have enough memory to
cope. Try closing down other programs you're running. Alternatively, it
might be a graphic driver problem. Download the latest graphics driver from
the website of your graphics card manufacturer.
