How to stop folding menus?

Hi,

I have been using Word since 1992 and got used to things being the way
they are, but when Microsoft Introduced folding menus in Word 2000 and
above (I believe) I started to get confused.

Is there any way to disable this? (I am using Office XP)

Pablo, if you mean the small double black chevrons pointing down and the
menu unfolding after a few seconds, I can help.

View,Toolbars, Customize, Options, check "always show full menus" in Word
2002. Something similar in Word 2000.

In Word 2000, you need to *un*check the box next to "Menus show
recently used commands first". (I call this the "Show every command
except the one I need" option.)
