How to stop receiving two of each incoming emails

I have two email accounts with different ISPs. I am receiving two of each new
incoming email. It doesn't make any difference to which address the message
was sent.

Are you using Rules to separate these messages into different folders? If
so, does the rule end with "Stop processing more rules"?

No, I haven't set up any rules yet.
