How to stop the clipboard filling with copies of the screen

In all Office 2003 applications, the clipboard keeps filling itself
unsolicitated with copies of the actual screen. It prevents normal copying
and uses all of the computer's resources.
How can I stop this?

Do you have a "F-lock" keyboard? There was something about the Alt key"
tripping the Printscreen. Or is the Printscreen button getting tapped?

Thank you, I did check if by accident I hit the "print screen" buttom but
nothing helps.
I reinstalled office and still nothing helps.
I only can make it stop when I choose "stop collecting" but then the "copy"
function is not availalbe or works erratically (sometimes it copies and pasts
properly; other times it is not avaulable at all; or it pastes the screen
image).

Hi Jozef,

If you've changed the options for the Office clipboard Pane to show
when it's collecting and you don't have any mapped keys you may
want to try starting your Office apps in Office safe mode (hold ctrl
key when starting Word, for example) to see if the behavior continues.
If not, it may be a 3rd party product or add-in that's 'hooked' to
the clipboard.

Bob Buckland,

Thank you for uour advice. I did try it and at first did not expereience the
problem any more but now it is back, jsut the same way as before.
Opening an Office application in safe mode does not change anything.

Anyhow thank you for your advice to check out if it is a third party problem
or not.
