How to strike thru when editing

editing our web page need to strike thru price, chose MS word edit and format, font, strike thru. highlighted the
dollar amount to strike thru before making the above selections and nothing happens. There is no Strikethru.
What do we do.
For us this is urgent we are reducing Christmas product prices.

Turn on your Track Changes! (Tools > Options > Track Changes) You can custmize the colors that appear too.
