I use Outlook 2007 and have following problem.
When new emails arrive in my inbox, they show as bold font in my inbox and
also a "new mail notification", i.e. an envelope, shows up in the bottom
right corner. This happens for real mail and also for junk mail, which is ok.
When I click on the junk mail item, it automatically is transferred to my
"junk mail"-folder, which is also ok.
But what is not ok, however, is that the new mail notification remains
visible even though no other new mail is present in the inbox. The only way
to get rid of the new mail notification is to go to the junk mail folder and
open the junk mail item.
What can I do to automatically remove the new mail notification after the
junk mal item is transferred to the junk mail folder?
