Thanks for the response.
I've poked around in there ("Tools->Options...") extensively, with no luck.
Tools->Options->Mail Format has a section headed "Message format" which says
"Choose a format for outgoing mail and change advanced settings. Compose in
this message format:" I have selected "Plain Text." And that works for NEW
e-mail messages which I create/originate.
BUT, when someone sends ME a message in HTML format, I still see HTML. And
I don't want to. Which is a minor irritation, and one I could live with. My
Real Problem is that when I REPLY to one of these HTML-format messages, my
REPLY is created in HTML format by default.
I can convert it to plain-text before I send it (by going to the "Options"
tab and selecting "Plain Text". But I would like to NEVER SEE "HTML E-mail",
and I certainly don't want to be guilty of SENDING any.
So if anyone knows how to completely disable all the HTML-functionality in
Outlook 2007, I'd be grateful.
