I got a new Office 2004 to replace my OfficeX for Mac. How do I import
Contacts from the old version of Office?

Sorry, I don't have EntourangeX, I have WordX and that's where the Contacts
are.

Hmmm. How did you create these Contacts in Word, then, and how do you
access them?

We had Office 98 and updated to WordX from that. Since we use mostly Word in
our business we relied on the Classic application for our Excel needs. So we
don't have the Office X suite, just WordX. We now have the entire Office 2004
suite for Mac.

Contacts we access from the Envelope Wizard or from the Contacts Toolbar in
WordX. They're there somewhere, I just don't know where. So there must be a
way to access them?

Thanx for any help

Ken

Hi Ken,

Your contacts are stored in the Microsoft User Data folder in the Office X
Identities folder within the Database. On moving to Office 2004, the
Database will be upgraded and your contacts will appear in Word under the
Address Book, Contact Toolbar, etc, as we as in Entourage in the Address
Book.

Thanks,
Rebecca

The reason I the Contacts didn't update was because I updated Office on 2
computers. OfficeX on the second computer didn't have any Contacts in its
address book to begin with.

D'oh! Sillly me. Sorry,

Ken
