how to turn off man announcing new mail???

How in the world do you turn off the man's voice announcing new mail arrive
in Office Outlook 2003?

tools options preferences email options advanced email options turn off play
a sound

That's the first thing I tried. Then I went into the control panel and
sounds, change the sound for new mail notification. Sound changed, but the
voice goes on.

Do you have a Toshiba laptop? If so, I think there some third-party software
on it that does that. Check around your Start menu for something from them
(Toshiba)

Thank you so much. One of our managers was really after me to get that turned
off.
