Thank you, William

When looking at web pages, such as ebay, a small window opens and says
"Error" "Runtime error detected" "Do you wish to debug" and the choice to
click yes or no. It shows the line that supposedly needs to be debugged.
Clicking yes it offers to bring up Microsoft Script Editor, which is a part
of office, and a part of Front Page. If no is clicked then the little window
with error message opens about a dozen more times per web page with the same
question and a different line to be "debugged" everytime. Turning off the
html msft script editor and debugger in control panel where it is under
tools, and rebooting does not eliminate the problem. It is only on one of six
computers in the office here. I can backup and copy all the files and re
format and reload all the soft ware, and I suppose that would fix the
problem, but does anyone know how to turn this little debugger off?
Thank you, William

In Internet Explorer
Tools->Internet Options - Advanced Tab
Clear the check box "Display a notification about every script error"

If you do not use IE as the browser, then look for a similar option in the
browser preferences/options.

That is the debugger for Javascript, not HTML.

It would be better to sort out what is causing the errors.....however you turn it
off in your browser - it is not a Frontpage thing.

In IE this would be under Options > Advanced.
