How to turn sound animation on?

I inserted sound (.wav) via insert sound from file and it seems to work
perfectly on my PPT show. But once I save into a web page and open in another
computer to test it out, there is no sound when the show is run. But when I
double-click on the sound icon on the browser page, there is sound. So it
seems like it is the animation of sound that is broken? I checked my
powerpoint custom animation but the sound is set as "start after previous" so
I don't see what is wrong. Someone enlighten me please!

Thanks - the link is useful but I still am unable to solve my problem. This
is because I am not inserting music over multiple slides. But each slide has
a voice over.

I found an FAQ on how to link sounds
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00059.htm but it still doesn't work tho
I've tried the steps involved.

Basically I saved all my sound files (.wav) into the same folder as my PPT.
Then I link it via insert sound from file. I also tried an option of
inserting sound in my slide transition. Both didn't work when I convert my
PPT into HTML and burn it into another CD. FYI, I copied my entire work file
into the CD (not just the HTML and HTML working file - is that necessary to
copy even my PPT original file?)

Anyway in the other comp terminal, I opened the HTML and there is no sound.
Only when I click on the sound icon will there be sound. But there is no
animation in my sound - and when I view slideshow, there is no sound either!
I am so exasperated cos nothing seems to work... someone pity me and help me
out pls!

Not sure of a way to have multiple sounds across html. The best way is to
perhaps combine the sound into one, or have the sound icon visible for users
to click on it and listen to the voice over on each slide. Alternately, you
can convert it into flash. See if others have a better workaround.

Thanks, Steve.. but that's done already. Still the problem persists.

I tried experimenting by saving my PPT in the other terminal, link the sound
files (which are v small) and then publishing into HTML from that "problem"
terminal.. just to test if the problem is in the link. BUT strangely enough,
the HTML still does not work. Could it be the way that terminal's internet
explorer's setting is?? Cos I did everything the same as the other terminal
to publish it into HTML..

One of the great mysteries I've encountered... would using PPT2HTML or
converting into flash resolve this inconsistency?
