How to uncombine automatically combined paragraphs

After moving some paragraphs around on my note page (Tablet PC w/ stylus) a
couple of them decided to combine into one paragraph (ie. I not only get ONE
three-dotted grabby thingy at the top of the text). How can I UNcombine these
paragraphs w/o re-writing them?

Select the text and drag it outside of the note container. It will create
a new container which can be further moved/combined in freeform as you see
fit.

I agree.. a lot of the time the tendency to combine containers is very
irritating.. and uncombining them takes time, which I don't want to spend. I
realize this is necessary to use the graphics.. but I don't like it for text.
