In my A2000 databases I use a main form with command buttons to open other
forms. The code for each button hides the calling form, put its name on a
stack (nothing fancy, just a global array), then opens the next form. When
the second form closes, it restores the first one. This works fine in A2000,
and so far, in A2007 as well.
Now the problem. In A2000 if the second form had an error, I could use Window
- Unhide to get the first one back. In A2007, I can't - there does not seem
to *be* a Window - Unhide, so if the second form has an error, all I get is a
blank screen with the (infernal) ribbon. I can't even get the data base
window (oh, sorry - Navigation Pane ) back. All I can do is close and
restart MS Access. Doesn't seem like much of an improvement.
Any ideas?
Thanks
