how to uninstall Office 2007

Hi, I have bought a new laptop. It was shipped with Windows Vista and a
trial (60 days) version of Office 2007. I do not want to use Office
2007 and want to install my old purchased Office 2000. Prior to intall
this old version I want to get rid of the trial version.
When I try to uninstall it, Office 2007 claims for a network resource (
I suppose that which was used by the manufacturer during his factory
installation process.)
anyone has idea how to process ?

How to uninstall the 2007 Office system if you cannot uninstall
it by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature:

FYI, I have a copy of Office Small Business 2000 (came with a Dell
laptop I bought in '01) that I've been moving from system to system as
I've upgraded my computers over the years, most recently to my new
Compaq laptop with Vista. Most of what I use from that copy of Office
works, except for Outlook.

I could never get Outlook 2000 to run properly in Vista. Since that's
what I sync my Palm to and I really, really wanted to be able to sync
it to the laptop as well as my XP desktop, I finally broke down and
bought the Office Standard '07 upgrade.
