how to uninstall Office on PC I'm returning & reinstall on a new o

I need to uninstall MS Office 2003 on a PC I'm returning & install it on a
new one, but I want to make sure it only shows up as ONE licensed use, not
two. I'm returning my previous PC, so I want to make sure that doesn't use
up one of my 3 permitted fully licensed installations. Do I need to contact
Microsoft to do this, or when I put in the disc to uninstall on my old PC &
then install on the new PC (& activate the software), does it "know" somehow
that the first use was uninstalled? I want to make sure that I'm able to use
the 3 licensed uses that I paid for! Thanks for your help...

It never "knows" if it has been uninstalled. Just uninstall it, and install
it on your new computer. If you get to the third installation on a third
computer and it complains, just use the telephone method to activate it.
