I checked my computer for updates and it indicated that I should download
the "Critical Update" xp1a. So I downloaded the xpupdate (15,000kbs), got it
to install and then all hell broke loose. I have windows 98SE, Front page
2002, Office 2000 premium, and MS Money from the MS works Disc. The update
installed MOSearch into my boot startup, which now causes my hard drive to
run continuously at unexpected times, I now have a registry fatal exception
in (VMM(06) connected to windows 95, (which is not on my computer), my
printer got deleted and when I got it back the default setting wouldn't
work. When I now open Word the program asks for my install disc.I also get
messages that my programs need a "data1.msi"file.
Is there any way to "uninstall the xp update?
Hopefully Yes!!!!
