How to unload the driver of access2000?

My pc's operation system is win2000.
I want to unload the driver of access200,first I enter the control
pancel,and
double click "add/delete the program",then delete the office 2000,and then I
restart
my computer.when the pc has started,I enter the control pancel,and then I
enter
the "manager tool",and I double click "data source(ODBC)",I still create the
odbc-link to access2000,and I still find the driver of access 2000(in
driver display,I find "Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)"),I want to know how
to
unload the driver of access2000 completely,because I want to test.
Who could tell me?(sorry my English is very poor)

Removing this driver is not advised, because this driver is a component of
the Windows 2000 operating system. If you would like to test an operating
system that lacks this driver, you will need to test an earlier version of
the Windows operating system on a computer that has never had Jet or most
versions of MDAC installed, or you will need to test a non-Windows operating
system.

automaticlly using vc,so I want to unload them.If I cann't unload them,how I

Hi.

Don't try to unload the Jet driver. It's part of the operating system.

The "ODBC-link" that your VC application creates is a Data Source Name
(DSN). You just need to test whether the DSN is created successfully and
can be used by an application to link to the data source.

But if my program is installed a PC that it hasn't setup access2000,and that
PC's operation system is perhahaps win9x,winnt,win2k or winxp,so I want to
test in my PC.
Could you tell me how to do in these different system?

Hi.

Most developers who develop applications for multiple operating systems have
all of these operating systems on hand to test with. Guessing whether or
not an application will work on a particular platform can be pretty risky.

I suggest that if you want to know whether these other operating systems
will support your application that you test your application on these other
operating systems, not just Windows 2000. If you cannot test on other
operating systems, then I also suggest that you not claim to customers that
you support those other operating systems.
