How to unlock word documents

I have tried everything but everytime i try to use my microsoft office word 2007 it says "The modification is not allowed because the selection is locked" please can anyone help me !!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I know, *Office Password Unlocker* is capable of removing m
document passwords, including password to open and password to edit

*Open press F11 while holding down shift and alt (Alt-Shift-F11). t
launch the script editor in Word with the file opened


*Select the find option (or hit ctl-f), and run a find for the wor
"password." This should highlight something liket his"32943208";

*Remove the letters and numbers between the tags


*Apply the changes made in the document in the script editor and clos
the window.

*On the "Tools" pulldown menu, select "unprotect" Your document shoul
now be unprotected

this would be the 32943208);

4) Save the document in the script editor and close the window. Yo
should now be back in your Word document;

5) From the "Tools" pulldown menu, select "unprotect." Your documen
should now be unprotected.

it that doesn't word, try a 3rd party utilities which is claim to unloc
password-protected word document like Word Password Recovery 5.0

I think in the year that has transpired since Tina posted the problem,
she has already solved it.

Some authors (for example, of forms to be filled out) "lock" thei
documents under Windows. This is incredibly annoying, as it prevents yo
from fixing errors or adding anything (e.g., addenda) to the document.
If you web-search on "unlock word password" you get a bunch of page
with word password recovery utilities,i have tried most of me,if yo
need suggestion of them.then let me know.good luck
