How to update new Office 2003 installation? Doe XP Auto Updates do

My old XP Pro laptop died and I'm installing my old apps on a new one...
including MS Office 2003 Professional Edition... (can't upgrade to new Office
yet... sorry :)

1 - I have XP Pro Auto Updates on... but not sure that upgrades Office 2003
Professional Edition updates... does it?

2 - Found this site...
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/CD010224941033.aspx
But after clicking around it is very confusing...
Is there no single place to "click" that just brings my Office 2003 install
completely up to date?

3 - Or must I click to MS Word 2003 and then sequentially install every
single update there manually...

4 - Then do the same fore every other Office 2003 prof ed app? Excel,
Access, Powerpoint, etc, etc?

Thanks for any help.

Microsoft Update should update your Office installation eventually, but to
bring it up to speed immediately,

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/maincatalog.aspx

Click on "Office Update" and the "Continue" button. You may have to repeat
the process, because some of the updates have to be installed sequentially.
There is also a link to Microsoft Update on that page if you prefer to use
it instead. In my experience it tends to hang a lot, "Checking for the
latest updates for your computer..." indefinitely.

If you manually run Windows Update, one of the options on completion will be
to update to Microsoft Update, if you dont allready have this.
Once done, MS Update will run and result a list of updates for all MS
Products installed on your PC.
After that autoupdate will install all critical updates for all MS software,
eg Windows & Office
