how to use a user defined function in Access from ASP

R

Rajashekharam

I am trying to execute a query from ASP using the microsoft jet driver. The
query is using a user defined function. The query is running correctly in
the Access, but when I try to run the same query I am getting the following
error

Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80040E14)
Undefined function 'mysum' in expression.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, no can do. The ability to use user-defined functions in Jet queries
is a feature that is supplied by Access itself, not by the Jet database
engine, and therefore works only within Access.
