how to use callthis function correctly?

I want to make use of the callthis function within a shape to invoke some
action

have tried to =callthis("modIAnwendung.insValues",,"id") but it posts
invalid function

modIAnwendung is the name of a modul and insValues a subroutine with the
parameter id

until now I could no imagine what I've done wrong???

I've been having similar problems with callthis. The function worked once
for me and then, for no discernable reason, stopped working and hasn't
worked since.
