I have a letterhead template. I guess I am having a mental block day!
We are a law firm. When we get a new file, we set up "shell letters" they
are pre-addressed and have the Re: line complete, etc. We open them, save as,
give them a name and type our letter. Here's the problem. When we want to
update our letterhead, we have to go in and change 1000 letters! So, the
other secretary and I had this idea: There is NO LETTERHEAD. When you open
the shell and save as, in your new document you insert the letterhead into
the header using a AutoText function. We love it. Of course, we are getting
flack! I think that is the answer. On the other hand, lets say I have the
letterhead saved as a Template also. I open my shell letter, save
as..........now, how do I activate the saved template into this new letter?
