How to use Project Server

Jeff Mohler

Apologies for such a simple question..but I inherited this project from a
contractor..

We have Project Server installed, and it all appears to work just fine from
a www browser.

So..how can a user in sales/engineering/etc create a project in this?

If there is an end-user how-to guide on this, please point me to it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

All scheduling is done using Microsoft Project Professional. Project Web
Access is used for viewing data and time sheets. So create your schedule in
Project.

For VBA posts, please use the public.project.developer group.
For any version of Project use public.project
For any version of Project Server use public. project.server

Ohh...I feared that.

I was fully sold by the guy at MS, and again by CDW, that this was all I
needed, the Project Server and CALs that I bought for a gob O bucks.

Although..I find it hard to believe that all 263Mb of data on this CD I got,
is JUST the WWW portion of this..
