I am trying to write a user's guide in Word 2003.
I am using styles as I understand it is adds significant efficiencies
foradding and editing table of contents, bullets etc..
How do I tell Word to put specific bullets for each style, and treat some as
sub levels of other styles. For example, my chapters are all Heading 2 and
the topics within them are Heading 3. I woud want the chapters to be numbered
sequentially (1, 2, 3 etc.) and then the topics 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2 etc.)
I am a little new to such advanced concepts and appreciate any guidance and
assistance.
