How to view manager of task assignment?

B

We are currently using project server across a large project. There are
a number of individual project plans that all roll up to the main
project plan.

For our individual plan we have 2 people who have access to open and
save changes to the plan. When one of us changes the assignment for an
individual task and publish the changes we have the option of becoming
the manager for that assignment.

What I would like to know, is there a way to view which of the two of
us is the manager for the assignment for each individual task?
i.e. Like another column under the Gantt chart view.

The only place I have found the project manager's name field is in the
assignment views. You can set up a custom view to include the project manager
field. After that you have to go in and select all of the team members on the
project (100 or less is all it will process) in the "view resource
assignmnets/your custom view." Once you have the team selected and you apply
the view it should show you who the PM is for each task, and then you can
save the view as a link and come back to it as necessary.

I forgot to mention applying a filtering for just the project you wish to
view, hope it helps

I would recommend that your Project Server administrator create a custom
Assignment view for you in PWA that shows the Project Manager column. Your
PS admin could make a copy of the default Assignment view called Summary,
call it something like Assignment Managers, and then add the Project Manager
column to this view. You would apply the view from the Resource Center page
by clicking the View resource assignment link in the sidepane on the left.
Hope this helps.
