How to view pp show on CD if the person does not have power point?

I want to send a CD of a pp slide show to someone who does not have Power
point on thier system. They have already downloaded the viewer from Microsoft
but still can't open a file with a pps extension. I saved my file as a pp
show. If I am reading the information correctly on the viewer the file will
only work if it is saved as a web page. Is there a way to view my file that
is saved as a show?

Your not reading it correctly. The PowerPoint viewer will allow you to view
your presentation without having the full version of PowerPoint on your
system. The viewer does not allow any editing of the presentation.

Saving as a web page allows you to view your presentation using only
Internet Browser.

You might want to look here at creating an Autorun CD which will
automatically run on you friends computer with no installation of any sorts.
