how to work out an age from a date of birth

Hi there,

Is it possible to work out the date with a function perhaps say if the date
of birth is 22/7/71 then the person is 35?

=datedif(a1,today(),"y")

=YEAR(7/22/71)+35 will give you the year the person turns 35. Make sure the
cell in which this formula is placed is formatted as a number.

(I'm using the MM/DD/YY format above. You should be able to use your date
format below).
