How to wrap ShapeSheet fields

S

Sterling

Hi everyone,

I am looking at my ShapeSheet, and a few of the fields are very, very
long, so that you have to scroll to the right to read all of the
information.

I assume that there is a way to enable the field to wrap around, to
obviate the need of scrolling right and then back to the left.

Could somebody please tell me how to accomplish that?

Thank you.

Thanks John.

Just now I found in Visio2010 preview an editor like the notepad.
It may be a good news for Sterling.

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your comments.

Maybe I was not expressing my question correctly. Some of the fields
(for example, "Character," "Paragraph," and "Tab") are very long, so
they cause me to have to scroll way to the right.

Hi,

Do you mean that the cell widths are overly long?

You can position your mouse over the edge of a cell and then left-mouse
button down and drag to change the cell widths.

I have had an issue in the past when a cell some became several screens wide
and no amount of dragging would return it to the correct position. If
that's your issue, (which I would doubt as I've only come across it once)
then there's a registry key that you can reset, but that should be your last
resort.

Let me know if I've understood correctly.

Best regards

John

Hi John,

It's not that the cell widths are too long, but that there are so many
cells that I have to scroll way over to the right.

What I need is that there not be so many cells on a line.

Of course, you can change the widths of the cells by clicking and dragging
the header dividers.
