how to write in onenote 2003?

I haven't yet figured out how to "write" on the screen of a laptop computer
using a tablet pen? Do you have to have a special program? If so, what do I
buy? What kind of "pen" do I need? I'm not very computer savvy, but this
feature sounds very convenient for me to use my computer in school. Can
anyone help me, please???

You need to have a Tablet PC computer to use the digital handwriting with
the built-in digitizer.

I use a USB attached Pen Tablet [UC-Logic WP5540(u)] attached to my laptop.
Allows me to write into Onenote beautifully for about ~$100

Neat products Mike - Thanks.
I use a Wacom Graphire4 6x8 (and a 4x5).
It works well in all apps. Word 2003, OneNote, EverNote, Scribbler,

If you want to annotate PDF files - try PDF Annotator, it works well
and still improving !
The latest release is top notch and it allows me to make new PDFs that
I INK into and allows me to INK on existing PDF files.

Mike, I see your product cann annotate in Word --"AnnotateForWord.zip"
- how well does it work ?

Of the products listed here... I might choose the bigger one: WP8060U
- I like the bigger writing area.
It might not fit on a desk beside a laptop though.
