I'm using 2003 MSproject. I'm having trouble with the following:
a) tracking multiple resources time associated with mutiple tasks
b) in the report field I want the WBS code to print. In WBS field in
entered the project numbers, which need to show on the reports.
c) I have multiple project (same resources) how do I track each resource
time weekly, so at the end, I can generate a report.

THANK YOU

Hello firstlady,
a) Have you looked at the resource usage view? It organizes assignments by
resource. The other option is the Task Usage view which shows all
assignments organized by task. You may have to work between the two
depending upon the circumstance.
b) Without knowing which report you want the WBS field to appear in, all I
can offer is general suggestions. Create a table showing the fields
(including the WBS field.) Modify the report and select the new table as the
basis for the report.
c) Have you created a resource pool and connected the multiple project files
to the pool? If you have, you should be able to track the resource's time
against the tasks from the different project files. (Use the Resource Usage
view.) If you have not created a resource pool, you will need to track the
resource's time in each individual project file.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

How do you create a resource pool. For each project I copied and pasted the
resources into each project. Is there a better way?
