How would I set up Outlook to link to a "First Class" server?

I have recently changed jobs and my new network uses "First Class" for an
email server. Being an avid Outlook user, I'm hoping to use Outlook anyway
and would like suggestions as to how to set up Outlook to pull from the First
Class server. The new place has Office licenses, so I still have Outlook at
my disposal. I've tried to set up as an Http: since we do have web access,
however, I'm unable to get this to work. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

What type of service does this "First Class" server offer? SMTP/POP3?
IMAP? Some proprietary service? I should think the I.T. department at
your new job should have some words on the subject
