I would like to have employees fill out a vacation/leave
request form (outlook form), email to their supervisor for
approval/rejection then have a notice of
approval/rejection returned to them electronically. In
addition, the supervisor can then drag and drop the form
to a calendar and the employee can drag and drop their
approval/reject slip to a word document/table/text
field/??? for further processing.
I know a MS outlook template already exists to accomplish
everything up to the point of the supervisor dragging to a
calendar but I don't know if the template still works in
Office XP/2003 nor do I know if I could drag and drop the
returned employee slip to a Word document of some type.
Does this sound possible and does it sound stable over
time? I am trying to stay away from using a database
because I don't want supervisors nor multiple employees
having to manage/audit a database.
TIA for your suggestions/help
