Hi localicecoffee,

I am sorry to hear about your experience with DR customer support. Here are my recommendations on how to resolve 'invalid key' activation issues with Office 2008 for Mac, that will hopefully save people time in the future.

Your best bet is to request a manual activation code from the Office for Mac Online Store support team. Be sure to include the following information in your request.

- Your order number (in your confirmation email) <br
- One or more of your product keys <br
- Your hardware ID (found on the Manual Activation screen in the activation window. Accessible through the 'Manual Activation' button on application startup)

You can find the Digital River email support form for all English-supported countries at: <br

You can also access your local language-based support by clicking on the 'Customer Service' button in the Activation dialog when you launch any of the applications on your Mac.

(Note: You'll have to dig through the FAQ to find the 'Contact Us' link).

Once you get your manual activation code, you will be able to activate using the Manual Activation window accessible through the Activation Window.

Thanks, <br
