How2 Remove all Hyperlinks

I've got a Word 2000 Document with a zillion hyperlinks. Because it was a
cut & paste hatchet job, few of the hyperlinks work. I'd like to remove
them all. Is there a command that will take them all out so I don't have to
do it one by one?

Or you could use Find and Replace to find ^19 HYPERLINK and replace with
nothing.

If you'll examine the thread, you'll see that's what we'd worked up to. Jay
had written, "If what you have in mind is completely removing the link *and*
its text, you need a macro." I was merely following up on the idea of
deleting the entire hyperlink, not just unlinking it, though I fail to see
why anyone would want to do that.
