HowTo copy whole Header&Footers

Hi all,

becaus i have a problem with import oft XML-Text (wich destroy the Header
and Footer of the MainDocument) i want to

1. copy the original Headers&Footers of Section 4
2. import text
3. Set Headers&Footers back to 1.

Problems:
- the formats (chars and paragraph) ar lost
- no fields - just the text of it

How can i save and restore
- content
- fields
- formats
of Headers&Footers?

Any Hints?

If you are inserting into a blank document created by a template with
headers and footers already set up, I think you have to insert a vbCr(empty
paragraph) first before inserting a file, in order not to overwrite the
headers and footers.

But to copy and paste header and footer formatting, you might be able to use
AutoText.
