HP Printer & Greeting Card Bottom

Using Publisher 2003 (Greeting Card Sympathy Card 3), the bottom (which would
be pages 1 and 4) of quarter-fold greeting card printed on letter size paper
is cut off and will not print completely. HP Deskjet 2300 minimum margins are
..12 top, .25 left, .25 right, and .50 bottom.

In Word 2003 (I did not know how to draw lines in WordPad) I set all margins
to 0 and drew vertical and horizontal lines and then measured them. The area
from the bottom edge of the paper is 9/16†or .56.â€

I then choose in Publisher, Arrange, Layout Guides, Margin Guides. The
margins on this tab are .35 inside, .35 outside, .35 top, and .35 bottom—not
left, right, top, and bottom as indicated on “Set margins for pages or text
boxes in Publisher." I changed the bottom to .6 and got the same results.

What else can I try?

I'm not sure what you are trying to do.
In the Arrange menu, set the 4 margins to your largest allowable margin as
determined by your printer. In your case it would be .5. You will have to adjust
the graphics. Using the same margin on all four sides will guarantee your
creation will be centered. If you don't care then be certain your bottom margin
is at least .5.

I would suggest using a bit larger margin in the arrange menu, maybe .51

As an aside, this is the first template I have ever seen that actually uses the
Blackadder font.

I did not think about adjusting the graphics. I thought the graphics would
adjust proportionately if the margins were reset. I was able to go to
Arrange, Layout Guides, set the top and bottom margin guides to .5. I left
the inside and outside margin guides at .35. Then I grouped all the graphics
objects. Next I went to Format Object, checked the Lock Aspect Ratio, and
reduced the size to 90%. Finally, I went to Arrange, Align or Distribute and
centered the object vertically and horizontally.
