HP Printing

I have noted several comments about various HP Printers printing small text.
I have the exact same problem with my (3 yr old) HP PSC 1210. It only
happens with Word and only happens when printing "Normal" or "Best" quality.
When printing "Fastdraft" quality, the page prints normally. HP has been
helpful but unable to solve the problem. I assume its a conflict with Word
2007, since both Excel and Publisher 2007 seem to work fine, as well as all
of Office 2003.

If you've been reading the newsgroup comments, you should have seen
several statements that this is a bug, either in Word 2007 Beta or in
the communication between Word and HP (and other) printer drivers.
Microsoft will have to fix the bug before the final version ships --
but as long as you're using the Beta version, there's nothing you or
anyone else can do about it.

Do you still experience the problem if you change the setting in the printer
Properties before starting Word? If so, one workaround is to Save to PDF and
then print that.

I havent tried changing it beforehand. It's worth a shot. If you export the
file to PDF, Publisher, Notepad, or anything it works fine. It's just
strictly Word 2007. Just waiting for Microsoft to fix it, but since this is
my only bug between Office 2007 and Vista, i'm not complaining :)
