Hperlinks from Borders don't work

J

John A Hansen

I created a web page with Front Page 2000. All works fine on the
computer There is a list of the various pages in the
left border. ( hyperlinks go to the various pages just fine)

I then publish to the web page folder and thence do a FTP to
the host server ( Comcast). The Hyperlinks then do not lead to
the associated web page. The properties show a connection path
to the C file where the original web page was created. I can't
seem to get the hyperlink to point to the correct page on the web
host.

Any help and suggestions are highly appreciated.

Best Regards

Try making the links relative to the site. Instead of having them as
"C:\your site folder\your page.html", try having them set as
"./yourpage.html" to reference the same folder or "../yourpage.html" if the
page is in the top folder of the domain.
