HPGL Graphics Filter in Word 2003

Has anybody been able to install the hpgl graphics filter (listed in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 196506) and have it work with Word 2003
running under XP. I've tried the same installation proceedure, which worked
with Word 2000, however only the text of the HPGL file (plt file generated
from CAD) is inserted, not an image.
Appreciate any answers to this.
