HSI becomes HIS when saved

I have a table with 1 text column.
Whenever the data has ends with the word "HSI" in it, when it got saved,
Access changed it to be "HIS".
For example:
I typed in "HSI", Access saved it as "HIS"
I typed in "HKE MINI HSI", Access saved it as "HKE MINI HIS".
This happens no matter what version of Access I am using (say Access 2003).
How can I fix this ?
Thank you.

In Access, look in "Tools", "Options", "Spelling" and click the auto correct
button. Type "HSI" in the left box. It will show the autocorrect "HIS" in
the right box. Click delete and your problem is solved.

Better yet, turn off Autocorrect entirely. Except for memo fields or
other free text, I don't really think it is conceivable that
Autocorrect is appropriately set to ON for any significant number of
controls in a database application. You choose your controls to
validate the data sufficiently to get good data, so that last thing
you want is some outside force interfering.

I learned this many many years ago with a combo box being corrected
from "Cafe" to "Café", and then giving a NO MATCH (since the word
was spelled without the accent in the lookup table the combo box was
populated from). This is insane. There is no logical reason that you
should even be *able* to turn Autocorrect on for a combo box -- it
completely violates the whole purpose of a combo box, which is to
provide pre-defined items to choose from.

I just don't understand why this hasn't been turned off by default
in Access since, well, forever. It just makes no sense.
